Information for 1989/90 is in Table C17 of Statistics of Education School Examinations GCSE and GCE 1990, which is also available in the Library. Since this information is only available within a hard copy publication, the local authorities are not ranked in order of the proportion of pupils achieving 5 A to C grades at GCSE.
