Member for Devonport (Mr. Ferrand) he would beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty, Whether the Board will issue an Order granting Superannuations to all Engineers, Fitters, Boiler Makers, Smiths, and Labourers entered as hired men, who shall have completed the regular term of service, upon the same scale as those entered upon the establishment?

replied, that he did not know of any intention on the part of the Admiralty to grant superannuations to the class of persons mentioned in the Question.
