MR. CRAWFORD
said, he wished to ask the President of the Board of Trade, in reference to the following passage in the Report of the Select Committee on Metropolitan Railways—
Whether it be the intention of the Government to introduce such a Bill?"The Committee are of opinion that some of the provisions of 'The Companies Clauses Consolidation Act, 1845,' require revision in relation to Metropolitan arrangements, and they recommend the introduction of a Bill for that purpose,"
MR. MILNER GIBSON
, in reply, said, the subject was under consideration. Such a Bill as was referred to would probably be introduced during the Session, but not until after the inquiry before the Select Committee on Metropolitan Railways had taken place.
