Question

asked the honourable Member for South Leicestershire, What are the precise terms of his Resolution with reference to this subject?

in reply, said, that, as far as his mind was made up on the subject, the Resolution which he intended to move would be to the effect that it was desirable to check their regular distribution of outdoor relief, with a view to the gradual diminution of such an encouragement to pauperism and improvidence.
