I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the English Police Regulations are available for public use, and would he have any objection to place the Royal Irish Constabulary Code upon the Table of the House?

I am informed that the London Metropolitan Police Orders are not available for public use, and under the circumstances I see no sufficient reason for departing from the decision previously laid down in this matter, namely, that the Royal Irish Constabulary code is a Departmental publication intended solely for the guidance of the Force, and that it would be inexpedient to place a copy on the Table or in the Library.
