I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, seeing that the whole of the beer and spirit duties in Great Britain, or about £800,000, has been devoted to science, art, and technical instruction, a proportionate sum will be provided to promote industrial education in Ireland?

I must ask my hon. Friend to reserve his inquiry till he is acquainted with the money I have at my disposal.
