I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether there will be a special Vote for the payment to be made to the Imperial British East Africa Company, or what opportunity will be given the House to discuss the wisdom of making such payment without regard to the outstanding claims relating to the Company's operations in Uganda, which are under discussion with the Government of the French Republic?

Yes, Sir, a Supplementary Vote will be taken upon that.
