On Motion rescinding the Order of the House of March 29th directing that five should be a quorum of the Committee for considering the Royal Patriotic Fund, and that the quorum should be reduced to three,

inquired whether this was not a Committee which proposed to make a change in the constitution of the Fund. In such a case he objected to such a change being made by only three Members of the Committee.

said, that it was impossible to complete the Inquiry this Session, but that it was desirable to bring the proceedings of the Committee up to a particular stage To-morrow in order that they might make a Report to the House. It was doubtful whether five Members could attend To-morrow, and it was for that reason that the Motion was submitted to the House.
