asked how many cards have been received from approved societies up to the end of 1912?
Mr. MASTERMAN
The number of cards received from approved societies (in addition to those received from deposit contributors) by the date mentioned was 8,087,036. Several millions of further cards are expected from a few large societies, who will deliver in large quantities.
Mr. FORSTER
Can the right hon. Gentleman say how many of these are men and how many women?
Mr. MASTERMAN
If the hon. Gentleman will be good enough to put down a question I will endeavour to ascertain.
