asked the Secretary to the Treasury the amount of duty received from imported dates, cherries, candied peel, ginger, and canned fruits?

Statement of the net amount of duty received from the undermentioned imported articles in the calendar year 1912, the latest years for which figures are available:—

I fear it is not possible to give a separate figure for dates, which are only liable to duty when preserved in sugar or syrup.
