asked the Prime Minister if he will give facilities for the passage of the Education (Provision of Meals) Act (Amendment) Bill at an early date in order that education committees may provide meals for necessitous school children during the next summer holidays?

Although the Government sympathises with the objects of this Bill, I fear I cannot promise facilities unless I am assured that it will be passed without opposition.
