asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether, in the proposed Bill to amend the National Insurance Act, there will be included a provision for half-yearly cards, instead of quarterly for those whose wages are paid monthly and quarterly, in order to save trouble and expense?

The question of introducing cards of six months' currency in place of the present quarterly cards is now under consideration. The change would be effected by Regulation without an amendment of the Act.
