asked the Prime Minister if His Majesty's Government have considered the advisability of discussing terms of settlement immediately with Mustapha Kemal Pasha at Ismid?
Mr. HARMSWORTH
No, Sir; the proposals of the Paris Conference for a settlement of the Near Eastern question were addressed to the Greek Government and to the Governments at Constantinople and Angora, and there can be no question of any separate discussion with one of the parties concerned.
