asked the Minister of Labour, as representing the Ministry of Health, if he is aware of the successful results in the United States of America of the policy of relieving newly-built dwelling-houses of rates and taxes; and whether he has considered its application to this country?

I am aware of the method adopted in the United States, and my right hon. Friend will consider this suggestion with others which have been made.
