asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he proposes to extend the special arrangements contemplated for the McKenna and other protective duties in the event of their repeal to the duty on hops?

Assuming that by "special arrangements" the hon. Member means that in the event of the repeal of the duty in the next Budget, the payment of drawback on duty-paid exports would be continued, the answer is in the affirmative.
