Dockyard Apprentices
asked the First Lord of the Admiralty the number of candidates who have sat for the dockyard apprentices examination; the number that have passed: and the number that have subsequently completed their fourth year of attendance at the dockyard schools, in each year since 1918?
The information is as follows:of such men that have left or been discharged from the dockyards during each year since 1920?

Manchester Prison (Lighting)
asked the Home Secretary if he is aware of the inadequate gas lighting and of the deterioration of the gas piping at His Majesty's prison, Manchester; if he has received the Report of the visiting committee on these defects; and if he will consider the desirability of installing proper electric lighting equipment at this prison?
I would refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave on 30th January to the hon. Members for Blackley (Mr. P. Oliver) and Hulme (Mr. McElwee).
Stag Hunting
asked the Home Secretary, whether it is his intention to introduce legislation making it illegal to hunt the wild stag with hounds; and, if so, when?
I am afraid that I cannot add anything to the reply which was given on 18th December last, namely, that it is not possible for His Majesty's Government to take up the subject at the present time.
