asked the Minister of Agriculture if he will now state when it is intended to introduce proposals to deal with the depression in arable farming?

A considerable number of proposals, some of them of a very complicated nature, are being examined by the Government, and my right hon. Friend is not in a position at present to say when that examination will be completed.
