asked the Secretary of State for War the number of vehicles in use by the various branches of the Army on Home service for the carriage of goods, stores, and equipment, as from 1st January, in 1920 and 1926, respectively; and what was the approximate quantity and cost of petrol used in each case?

I regret that the information as to the quantity and cost of petrol is unobtainable, while that regarding the vehicles is not available and could only be obtained with a disproportionate amount of time and labour.
