asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what Government lands have been sold during the previous three years; and what is the average price per acre for which these lands have been sold?

Apart from the particulars of sales given in the annual reports presented to Parliament by the Commissioners of Crown Lands, the information asked for is not available at the Treasury and could not be obtained from the various Departments concerned without the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of time and trouble.
