I regret to have to inform the House of the deaths of

• Captain the Right Hon. Robert Croft Bourne, late Member for the City of Oxford;
• Joseph Alexander Leckie, Esquire, late Member for the Borough of Walsall;
• Alfred Short, Esquire, late Member for the County of York, West Riding (Doncaster Division); and
• Sir Philip Dawson, late Member for the Borough of Lewisham (West Division).

We desire to express our sense of the loss we have sustained, and our sympathy with their relatives.
