asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he can make any further announcement about the negotiations with the United States of America for a trade agreement; whether the agreement has been concluded, and how soon its terms can be communicated to Parliament.

Yes, Sir. I am happy to be able to inform the House that the negotiations have been successfully concluded and the Agreement will be signed in Washington to-morrow. I hope that copies of the text will be available in the Vote Office before the House rises tomorrow night.

Is there a simultaneous Agreement between Canada and the United States?

Yes, Sir, I understand that an Agreement between the United States of America and Canada is to be signed simultaneously.
