The Secretary for Mines
(Captain Crookshant)
I beg to move,
This is purely a formal matter, but if any hon. Member wants information about it I shall be very pleased to give it. These Rules are made in order to enable the valuations to be made."That the Coal (Valuation Procedure) Rules, 1938, a draft of which was presented to this House on the first day of December, 1938, be made."
Mr. David Grenfell
All I desire to say is that we have made a careful examination of these Rules and I am assured by people who are expert in these matters that they are quite in accordance with the purpose of the Act. We do not propose to oppose the Motion.
Question put, and agreed to.
Resolved,
"That the Coal (Valuation Procedure) Rules, 1938, a draft of which was presented to this House on the first day of December, 1938, be made."
