It is with profound regret that I have to add that Colonel Sir Sidney Peel died yesterday. As chairman of the advisory committee since 1919 and in many other ways, Colonel Peel had rendered invaluable assistance to his country; I am confident I am expressing the feelings of the whole House as well as of the Government in testifying to the immense debt of gratitude which we owe to his memory.
