Resolved,

"That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to empower the Minister of Labour in case of war to modify or suspend the operation of any of the provisions of the Unemployment Insurance Acts, 1935 to 1939, and make provision with respect to any of the matters to which the said Acts relate, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the said Act of the present Session in the sums payable under the Unemployment Insurance Acts, 1935 to 1939, out of moneys so provided"—(King's Recommendation signified.)—[Mr. E. Brown.]
