asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he will arrange that when, during the present emergency, pensioned civil servants are asked to return to duty, they shall in no case be paid at rates which are lower than those operative at the time of their re-employment for the grades in which they are re-employed?

Arrangements to this effect have already been made.
