asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that, owing to the abolition of cheap day return tickets on the London Passenger Transport Board suburban system, the cost of a journey in mid-week on the Aylesbury line has increased by nearly 100 per cent.; and whether he will take action to re-introduce modified facilities for travel at the former rates in the interest of the travelling public?
