In the case of secondary and technical schools and other institutions of higher education, grant from the Boardis payable at the rate of 50 per cent. In the case of elementary and special schools the rate of grant is 50 per cent. or the rate payable on the authority's elementary education expenditure as a whole under the current Elementary Education Grant Regulations, whichever is the higher. In the case of expenditure met from loan, these rates of grant are paid upon the loan charges.
