Resolution reported:

"That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision in connection with the appointment of a Minister of Works and Planning, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—

(a) such salaries or remuneration of that Minister and any secretaries, officers or servants appointed by him as the Treasury may determine; and

(b) the expenses of that Minister, to such amount as may be sanctioned by the Treasury."
