Resolution reported:

"That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision in connection with the appointment of a Minister of Works and Planning, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—
  • (a) such salaries or remuneration of that Minister and any secretaries, officers or servants appointed by him as the Treasury may determine; and
  • (b) the expenses of that Minister, to such amount as may be sanctioned by the Treasury."
