War Damage Amendment

"That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the War Damage Act, 1941, and Part II and Section sixteen of the War Risks Insurance Act, 1939, it is expedient to authorise—

  • (a) the payment into the Exchequer of any additional sums received by the Commissioners of Inland Revenue or the Board of Trade by reason of the extension by the said Act of the present Session of the risk period mentioned in the said Act of 1941, or of any amendment, as from any date, by the said Act of the present Session of the said Act of 1941;
  • (b) any such increase in the money that may be raised and the securities that may be created under Section seventeen of the War Risks Insurance Act, 1939, as may be attributable to any amendment of that Act, as from any date, by the said Act of the present Session."
  • Resolution agreed to.
