War Damage (Amendment) Money

Resolution reported,

"That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the War Damage Act, 1941, and Part II and section sixteen of the War Risks Insurance Act, 1939, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—
  • (a) any increase in the sums authorised to be paid out of such moneys by section fifty-four, fifty-five or ninety-one of the said Act of 1941 attributable to the extension by the said Act of the present Session of the risk period mentioned in the said Act of 1941 or to any amendment, as from any date, by the said Act of the present Session of the said Act of 1941; and
  • (b) any increase in the sums authorised to be paid out of such moneys or out of the Consolidated Fund by the War Risks Insurance Act, 1939, attributable to any amendment, as from any date, of that Act by the said Act of the present Session."
