I beg to move, "That this House do now adjourn."

I think it might be convenient if I now make the statement of Business for the present series of Sittings.

Next Sitting Day—I shall propose a Motion to pay tribute to the memory of the late Speaker. The terms of that Motion will be on the Paper to-night. Afterwards it is proposed to move Mr. Speaker out of the Chair on going into Committee of Supply on the Navy Estimates, and to consider Votes A and I and Navy Supplementary Estimate in Committee.

Third Sitting Day—It is proposed to move Mr. Speaker out of the Chair on the Air Estimates, and to consider Votes A and I and Air Supplementary Estimate in Committee.

Will Questions be on the Paper as usual on the next Sitting Day?

Does that mean that the Debate on the Foreign Service will not now take place?

I share the hon. Member's regret at the postponement and hope it may not be unduly long.

Will the Questions put down on the Order Paper for to-day be answered on the Third Sitting Day?

I am not at all sure that I can answer that question offhand. I understand that the Questions which will be on the Paper on the Second Sitting Day will be those which should have been answered to-day.

When will the appointment of the Chairman of Ways and Means and the Deputy-Chairman be moved?

Question, "That this House do now adjourn," put, and agreed to.
