asked the Minister of Health whether he has any information as to the extent and severity of the present epidemic of diphtheria in Germany; and whether the epidemic has spread to enemy-occupied countries?

Such information as is available leaves no doubt that there has been a big increase in the prevalence of diphtheria in Germany. I understand that diphtheria has similarly increased in some at least of the enemy-occupied countries.
