asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether, in view of the alarming increase in the number of dermatitis cases in the coalmines of this country, he will take steps to have investigations made into the kind of stone dust which is being imported and used in the coalmines?

There are no grounds for attributing any recent increase in dermatitis among coalminers to the importation of stone dust; as there has been no change for several years in the type of stone dust used.
