asked the Secretary of State for War whether the report of the Cozens-Hardy Committee on staffing of mixed civilian and military establishments has been issued; if so, whether he will acquaint the House with its contents; and what steps he proposes to take on the recommendations?

The report of the Cozens-Hardy Committee on staffing of mixed civilian and military establishments has now been received. As I explained to the hon. Member last November the Committee was essentially a departmental one and I do not propose to publish its report. But when the report has been examined I will, as I promised, consider what information can usefully be given to the House as to action taken.
