asked the Secretary of State for War whether it is possible to grant the girls who are serving in the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes a railway voucher to their homes when they have their leave, as all the other girls in the Forces have this privilege?

The female members of N.A.A.F.I.'s staff referred to by my hon. Friend are employees of the Corporation and their emoluments and conditions of service are not directly comparable with those of Army personnel. I understand that those employed in N.A.A.F.I. restaurants at home receive four travel vouchers in every twelve months. In each case the corporation pays the cost in excess of 10s. 0d.
