asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies who was responsible for the bad publicity attending the visit of East African chiefs to the Middle East Army; and whether his attention has been called to adverse criticism in Kenya?

The arrangements, including publicity arrangements, for this tour were made by the East African Governments in consultation with the military authorities. I had not heard that they have been criticised.
