asked the Minister of Agriculture whether a decision has yet been made as to whether the hill cattle subsidy may be granted in the case of cattle maintained on fells or hill farms for a period of five months in the year and not as originally proposed for six months?

Yes, Sir, it has been decided to reduce the minimum grazing period on the hill for eligible cattle under the hill cattle subsidy scheme to five months instead of six as was originally proposed.
