asked the Secretary of State for War whether he can now make any further statement regarding men previously in Malaya, Java and Singapore and now missing?

Notification of names by the Japanese Government is still proceeding, but the number so far notified is still less than half the number we hope eventually to receive. Otherwise I have nothing to add to the answer given on 16th March to my hon. Friends the Members for Linlithgow (Mr. Mathers) and Wycombe (Sir A. Knox).
