asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food why the Stroud laundry is without any supply of starch; and when he expects supplies to arrive?

The application from the Stroud laundry for the ration period commencing 28th March was not received by the Ministry until 3rd May. The necessary authority for the release of the starch was given by telegram on 4th May and the starch is now on the way. I will communicate with my hon. Friend as soon as my inquiries have been completed.
