asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will ensure that soldiers who are discharged from the Forces on health grounds are informed that if they wish to claim a pension it is essential for them to make an application, as many are unaware of this fact?
My hon. and gallant Friend appears to be under a misapprehension. Cases of men invalided from the Army are referred automatically for the consideration of my right hon. Friend the Minister of Pensions. I would also refer to the reply given by him to a Question on a similar subject by the hon. Member for North Cornwall (Mr. Horabin) on 19th November, 1942.
