asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food what is the nature of the flaps included in Statutory Rule and Order, 1943, No. 546?

asked the Postmaster-General what changes are made as a result of the repeal of the Post Office (Executive of Documents) Warrant, 1938, and its replacement by the Post Office (Executive of Documents) Warrant, 1943 (S.R. & O., No. 606, of 1943)?

Since the issue of the 1938 warrant there have been changes in the organisation of the Post Office, and it became necessary to delegate existing powers of signing certain documents to officers on newly created grades. Some minor extensions of power to sign on my right hon. Friend's behalf have also been made, for example, of the power to issue licences for the sale of stamps.
