May I ask the Leader of the House whether he has any further statement to make with regard to the course of Business during the next Sitting Days?

I am obliged to my right hon. Friend. I want to make a statement about a slight alteration of Business. We propose now to take the Committee stage and the remaining stages of the Coal Bill on the first Sitting Day and not on the second Sitting Day, as had been announced. There are Amendments on the Paper to this Bill, and we thought there would be a chance of our reaching the Coal Bill a little earlier on the first Sitting Day than on the second day, and hence the change.

We should like to get on to it as soon as we can, and we thought there was more chance on the first Sitting Day than on the second. I could not say exactly what time it will be.
