Notice was given that the following Government Bills would be introduced on an early day:

Bill to provide for the re-instatement to civil employment of certain persons who are, or have been, in the service of the Crown or in the Civil Defence Forces; and

Bill to make further provision for enabling persons handicapped by disablement to secure employment or work on their own account, and for purposes connected therewith.—[ Mr. Ernest Bevin.]

Bill to reform the law relating to education in England and Wales.—[ Mr. Ede.]
