asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will make arrangements to release additional lorry tyres to distributors in the King's Lynn area to ensure that all lorries engaged in the transport of sugar-beet from the farms can be kept properly serviced and in use during the coming months.

Yes, Sir. Arrangements had already been made to ensure that the transport of sugar beet from farms should not be held up through lack of tyres for transport.
