asked the Secretary of State for War how many Poles who have declined to join the Resettlement Corps have been sent to Germany to fend for themselves; how many more Poles it is proposed to send; and whether His Majesty's Government will reconsider this policy, as there is evidence that there are many Poles to whom the intention of the corps has not been clear from the wording of the attestation form

Sixty-tour nave been sent to Germany How many more will ultimately be sent depends on the Poles. There should be no doubt in the Poles' minds about terms of service in the Resettlement Corps.
