asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if he can now state whether Auxiliary Air Force training allowances and bounties will no longer be subject to Income, Tax; and from what date this concession will apply.

Yes, Sir. These payments are exempted from tax, as from 6th April, 1947, by Section 27 of the Finance Act, 1947.
