asked the Minister of Food what amount of suet is made available annually to butchers for distribution to their customers.

Suet is not supplied to butchers as a separate item but as a constituent part of carcase meat supplied to them for the ration and for manufacturing. The quantity of suet in a carcase or a joint varies for a number of reasons and a separate figure of the annual total is not available.
