asked the Minister of Food whether he is aware that, owing to the occupation of the vaults at London Docks with Algerian wine, it is not possible to accommodate in the vaults other wines which are now obstructing the dock roadway; and when the Algerian wine will be disposed of to the public.

My Department is not responsible for the storage of wine imported by the trade. Presumably importers take the precaution of ensuring that bonded stores are available before arranging for wines and spirits to be shipped to this country. Sales of Algerian wine are being made.
