asked the Minister of Agriculture how many tied cottages are held by the Forestry Commission in England and Scotland, respectively.

Of the houses and cottages held by the Forestry Commission, 191 in England, and 163 in Scotland are let rent free to foresters, foremen, and certain other workers as part of their emoluments. In addition, 690 in England and 656 in Scotland are let on rents to tenants under agreements which require them to work either full-time or part-time for the Commission.
