asked the Secretary of State for Air what are the number of Air Training Corps Squadrons now recognised; the number of commissioned officers, other than regular officers, attached to these squadrons; and the number of N.C.O.'s and cadets enrolled.

On 31st December, 1948, there were 722 recognised squadrons, 2,684 commissioned officers, other than regular officers, attached to squadrons, and 43,006 enrolled cadets and cadet N.C.O.'s.
